Criteria for Acceptance into Welcome English Language Centre
- The mission of the centre is to provide English language classes for those in the asylum process and immigrants who are unable to pay for tuition.
- Students who are in Ireland studying in other colleges or on other courses, those who do not intend to live in Ireland permanently are not eligible to register in the centre.
- Students must be free to attend class for two hours each day Monday to Thursday beginning September and continuing until mid-June.
- Holidays can only be taken when the centre is closed to avoid missing class.

Due to high levels of demand for classes, it is necessary to operate a waiting list as the number of places available is limited due to space, Health and Safety requirements and tutor availability. Applicants on the current waiting list will be kept informed as to their status.
All applicants will be placed on a waiting list for classes beginning in September 2024.
